On Friday, December 8th, the whole school gathered to make a Peace Tree to honor the many cultures and faiths around the world.  Each child traced and cut out their hand (four times). We put our paper hands togethr to make a tree.  Then groups of three students chose a symbol of peace from different faiths and cultrues around the world. They also made thier ouwn version of the symbol, put it on the tree and presented its meaning to the whole school. Our Peace Tree is one way we continue to celeberate peace, diversity and hope.
